Teaching Resources
Welcome to SRA Teaching Resources!
Teaching Resources is an online community where SRA members can engage in sustained conversations about teaching and share innovative, effective resources related to teaching about adolescence. Teaching Resources is interdisciplinary and international in nature and encourages multiple perspectives, teaching philosophies, and teaching methods to be shared with a professional community invested in teaching about adolescence.
Key Features of Teaching Resources:
- Engage in sustained conversations about teaching. SRA members are encouraged to engage in sustained conversations about teaching through the Teaching blog, The Adolescent Professor, and the Teaching Resources Q & A. The Adolescent Professor blog addresses timely issues and reflects on experiences of teaching about adolescent development. The Teaching Resources Q & A posts a new question each month regarding teaching about adolescence. SRA members are encouraged to post responses directly to the blog and to email Q & A responses to teacherscorner@s-r-a.org. Q & A responses are reviewed by SRA Online Editors and posted on the Teachers’ Corner.
- Share and access teaching-related resources. SRA members can share and access teaching resources that reflect best teaching practices and innovative pedagogical approaches at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. Please submit course syllabi, activities, assignments, and additional teaching resources to teacherscorner@s-r-a.org. Submissions are reviewed by SRA Online editors and posted on the Teachers’ Corner (see acceptance criteria and Copyright/Publication Rights).
- Recognize excellence in teaching. SRA Teaching Resources would like to recognize SRA members who have recently received a teaching award. Please email teacherscorner@s-r-a.org information on teaching award winnersso they may be recognized!
- We want to hear from you! Do you have a question, topic, or issue regarding teaching about adolescence that you would like to submit to Teaching Resources? Please contact teacherscorner@s-r-a.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
