Membership in the SRA is for the calendar year. Applications received prior to October 1 will be processed for the current year and membership will be retroactive to January 1. All publications from the current year will be sent upon processing of the application. Applications received on or after October 1 are considered eligible for membership effective the following year.
Who can join SRA?
The Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) includes professionals and graduate students in psychology, human development, family studies, education, public policy, sociology, social work, psychiatry, pediatrics, public health, and many other areas. If you are conducting research on adolescence, you cannot gain better professional contacts and information than through SRA.
Membership is open to any individual or professional who has contributed to, is interested in or has furthered research in adolescent development. Students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate study qualify for student membership. SRA accepts credit card payments online from Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
SRA Membership Benefits
All members receive a hardcopy of Journal for Research on Adolescence and the Newsletter (except for Student Non-Journal membership type). Each member receives four issues of JRA and a Spring and Fall issue of the Newsletter annually.
