Volunteer to Review for the 2016 Biennial Meeting!

The Society for Research on Adolescence invites you to volunteer to participate in the review process for the 2016 SRA Biennial Meeting to be held in Baltimore, MD. We project that we will need over 300 people with expertise in all areas of adolescence to review the 2016 submitted program. Recruiting will begin May 26, 2015 so don’t wait to sign up! Review Panels are scheduled to be selected and finalized by June 30, 2015.

All reviewing will be done via the internet, so you will need to be available and have access to the internet from September 23 through October 21, 2015. Please note that, although you may volunteer to be part of the review process, not everyone will be recruited to serve. Also, if there is a considerable increase in submissions over the number received in 2014, recruiting may continue beyond the submission deadline of September 2, 2015.

Consider forming a Mentor-Student Review Pair:
Both mentors and mentees must be SRA members in order to form a Mentor/Mentee review pair. NEW FOR 2016: Only Mentors will volunteer to review. During the sign-up process, mentors will be asked for their mentee information. Once a mentor has been invited and agreed to serve on a panel, their mentee will be sent an invitation by the SRA Program Office. Please review the Procedures and Guidelines for Mentor-Student Review Pairs. Unless paired with a Mentor, only those with a Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree may volunteer to review.

Clicking [here] will take you to the Volunteer Reviewer website where you will need to create an account and enter all of the information requested. During the sign-up process, you will asked to choose up to three Panel/Topic areas for which you feel qualified to review. Please click [here] for the 2016 Panel/Topic listing. You will then be asked to indicate which one of these panels you feel you are most qualified to review.
